Personal History: Born and raised on St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands. A 1980 graduate of Hampton (Institute) University with a BS degree in Foods and Nutrition, and a 1986 graduate of Central Michigan University with a MA degree in Management and Supervision. Received an ROTC Commission as a Second Lieutenant in 1980. Graduate of the Quartermaster Officer Basic Course, Quartermaster Officer Advance Course, Combined Arms Services Staff Course, Logistics Executive Development Course, and the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College. After retirement, served as a Department of the Army Civilian and community volunteer. Married to Colonel (Retired) Don Drummer. Blessed with a daughter, two sons, and two grandchildren.

Duty Assignments : My duty assignments included: Assistant Brigade S4, 5th Training Brigade, and then Army Emergency Relief Officer, Fort Dix, New Jersey; Battalion S4, Special Troops Battalion, and then Class I Officer, 2nd Support Command, Germany; Instructor, Subsistence and Food Service Department, U.S. Army Quartermaster School, Fort Lee, Virginia; Commander,      G Company, and then Battalion S-2/3, 244th Quartermaster Battalion, 23rd Quartermaster Brigade, Fort Lee, Virginia; Executive Officer, 262nd Quartermaster Battalion, 23rd Quartermaster Brigade, Fort Lee, Virginia; Chief, Evaluation Division, U.S. Army Quartermaster Center and School, Fort Lee, Virginia; Chief, Field Services Division, Assistant Chief of Staff Services, 19th Support Command, Korea; Support Operations Officer, and then Executive Officer, 302nd Forward Support Battalion, 2nd Infantry Division, Korea; and Supply and Services Officer, and Assistant Chief of Staff, G4, XVIII Airborne Corps, Fort Bragg, North Carolina.  I closed my military career while serving as Assistant Professor and Officer in Charge of the ROTC Program, Elizabeth City State University, Elizabeth City, North Carolina. 

 

Organizationa/Postions/Assisgnments in which you were a FIRST: : Parent-to-Parent Program Lead, Military Child Education Coalition (MCEC) in 2005.   

 

Awards:    Meritorious Service Medal (three Oak Leaf Clusters), Army Commendation Medal (one Oak Leaf Cluster), Army Achievement Medal (one Oak Leaf Cluster), National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Reserve Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, and the Overseas Service Ribbon (second award).
