Baby baskets to the Mother and Baby unit/ward at the University of Maryland Capital Region Medical Center
I had the pleasure of delivering 5 of the baby baskets to the Mother and Baby unit/ward at the University of Maryland Capital Region Medical Center, Largo, MD. Pictured with me is the Volunteer Services Coordinator and the Head Nurse for the Mother and Baby unit. On the day of the delivery there were 13 mothers on the ward and I requested that the baskets be given to family members of Veterans, if possible. The Corporate Director, Patient & Family Experience at the Medical Center also assisted us in unloading the baskets from my car.
The entire University of Maryland Capital Region Medical Center team was very appreciative of the much needed donations!!
